Hi, I am Shannon. Welcome to my page. First of all, I want any woman who is a rape survivor to know how strong you are. I know you may not feel strong. Listen real close, so you can hear your voice. You are strong because you are alive and reading my page. You are strong because you endured a war, and you are alive to tell about it. Studies have shown that rape victims endure the same Post traumatic Syndrome that men in war have endured. I have considered that men captured in war are raped by the enemy. This is because it breaks their spirit. You are strong. You have endured. I admire you. This page is dedicated to all women and children who have been hunted by our so called "Justice System." If you study up on the Witch Trials, you will see that modern day rape trials and witch hunts hold a lot of similiarities. This page used to include my personal story of sexual assault. I decided to take my personal story down and in turn, put the closing arguments from the Rape Trial. Maybe this will give everyone insight to what it is REALLY like. We are truly hunted. There are now Rape Shield laws in effect, but to be honest, they did not help me or shield me from anything. I also added some warning signs to look out for and ways that you could possibly psych out a rapist. . It goes into a quick trip into the mind of the 2 most common types of rapists. Its located in the "Warning Signs" section of this page. I encourage women to read this page especially. If you are a man and you have a mother, sister, grandmother, wife, friend you care about, I would encourage you to read it also. We all have to work together to protect each other from such predators. Letters from people who have visited my page are posted in the "Shannon's MailBox" section of the Page.
This page also discusses Gun Safety and your SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHT, which I STRONGLY believe it. I believe that each state is slowely taking your right to bear arms away from you. I also believe in personal responsibility, so much so, that in the pictures of me with my weapon, if you look closely, you'll see that my weapon is unloaded. Soon, I will put a new page up dealing with guns and children. You cannot "Childproof Guns"...however you can "Gunproof Children." My own daughter is now 8 years old. I told her that if she is at a friends house and comes across a weapon, she WILL NOT touch it. She knows it can kill her. However, I did tell her, if she comes to me, and is curious about weapons, I will take her out and show her how to use it. Shocked? You should be. With all this media hype about kids and guns, you would be shocked to know that you have a greater chance of accidently falling and dying, than being accidently shot with a weapon.
